Weekly tasks to have a SUCCESSFUL business!

Week 1

1st Customers, Bookings, Coaching (Videos Included)

You will build your client base the same way beauticians, nail techs, doctors and other professionals do.
They begin with family & friends, develop a good reputation, & word spreads.

ATTITUDE IS KEY:
 When you are booking you need to be smiling and have high energy

 You can book whenever you have a few minutes—remember, it doesn’t take hours on end to make the calls.
 In order to get booked up, you have to plan for it and set aside specific time to get on the phone.

 Nobody likes to book with someone that doesn’t sound excited—if you aren’t excited, why would they be?


 Fun tip: keep a mirror by your phone so you can see if you are smiling!

 Remember to sound like you are in a HUGE HURRY. It keeps the other person interested. Having a sense of urgency is super important.

 K.I.S.S.: KEEP IT SIMPLE! Stick to the script!! These words may not be your words, but they WORK!!!

Week 4

Start shifting your thoughts regarding time. There are 168 hours in a week. This is the equivalent of 4 ‘traditional’ work weeks. If you want $300 profit per week, you will need 6 – 8 hours of Mary Kay time each week. To earn a MK career car and move into leadership, you will need 15 hours each week.

One of the most fun and exciting things you'll learn is how to be confident with color and glamour! You can earn your "Advanced Color Consultant" badge from the company to proudly display on your personal website, business cards, and Facebook. This week is about taxes. Figuring out the "tax thing" in your personal business can be a little intimidating and overwhelming.  However, maximizing the benefits of your Mary Kay business means understanding and maximizing the tax benefits that come with it!!
